BOYARD XO AOP COGNAC
BOYARD XO AOP COGNAC
Grapes: Ugni blanc and Colombard
Soil: Clay-limestone and sandy
DEVELOPMENT:
This blend is composed of different eaux-de-vie from 100% from the island
of Oléron, the youngest of which has been aged for at least 10 years in
oak barrels.
TASTING:
• Its amber colour is tinged with tiled reflections.
• Its candied and caramelised nose opens with notes of stewed
pineapple, and sweet spices such as vanilla or saffron accompanied
by woody and toasted touches.
• Its full-bodied, warm palate opens with notes of ripe figs, liquorice
and candied pineapple, then extends to spicy, almost peppery
touches underlined by a light woodiness.
• The minty finish offers a pleasant freshness.
FOOD AND WINE PAIRING:
To be enjoyed neat, slightly warmed in the palm of your
hand. Will go perfectly with a saffron langoustine swim.
ALCOHOL: 40% Vol.
