BOYARD VSOP AOP COGNAC
BOYARD VSOP AOP COGNAC
Grapes: Ugni blanc and Colombard
Soil: Clay-limestone and sandy
DEVELOPMENT:
This blend is composed of different eaux-de-vie from 100% from the island
of Oléron, the youngest of which has been aged for at least 6 years in oak
barrels.
TASTING:
Its caramel colour is nuanced by old gold reflections.
Its warm and greedy nose opens with caramelized and chocolate
notes embellished with slightly spiced candied fruits giving it a
feminine style. The attack
is lively and fruity, with notes of peaches and apricots combined
with aromas of milk chocolate and sweet spices such as vanilla. The
woody touches prolong the finish and offer a harmonious whole.
FOOD AND WINE PAIRING:
To be enjoyed neat as an aperitif or as a cocktail in a Cognac
Summit. Will go perfectly with pan-fried foie gras, vanilla butternut
tatin, and Java pepper.
ALCOHOL: 40% Vol.
